Consisting of an electrolyte, a stack, and a circulatory system, it realizes the conversion between electrical and chemical energy through electrochemical reactions between vanadium ions of different valence states.


Policy Push
The advancement of the national strategy of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” has reinforced the significance of energy storage in energy development strategies. Flow batteries, primarily vanadium batteries, have emerged as a key component of electrochemical energy storage, and vanadium batteries are now in the initial stages of commercialization.

Application Scenario
On the power supply side, it is utilized for energy storage in wind power, photovoltaic, and other power generation; on the grid side, it is employed for peak load shaving, as well as peak and frequency regulation; on the user side, it is adopted in time-of-use electricity pricing scenarios to store low-cost electricity; and it can also be used in emergency power systems to enhance power quality assurance.

As a key energy storage device in the integrated energy station system, Huachang Energy’s all-vanadium redox flow battery serves to reconcile the disparity in power synchronization between power generation and consumption, thereby facilitating the implementation of integrated energy station projects.
